AQUA PHASE ADJUSTMENTS &
MAINTENANCE
| When you first receive your Aqua Phase machine: |
 |
If your unit has the wheelchair Wheel Rotation System feature installed,
adjust the height of the front and rear wheel brushes if needed. |
|
If your unit has the Disinfectant Application System feature installed,
adjust the disinfection injection rate if necessary. |
|
Note: The disinfection injection rate is preset at the factory for
use of a disinfectant that requires a dilution rate of 1 oz. per gallon of water. Contact
the factory if adjustment of the injection rate is necessary. |

See the "Disinfectant Application System Option" section of
your operating manual for further information. |
|
|
| Weekly Maintenance: |
|
Check the filter screen(s) for
damage.. |
|
 |
If present, Rear filter screen(s) is located inside the filter bowl located in the
mechanical cabinet at the rear of the machine. |
|
|
Replace damaged filters. |
|
Check the spray nozzles (located inside the wash chamber) for clogging. |
|
|
Clean if necessary. |
|
Check the power cord for any wear or damage. |
|
|
If the power cord appears to be damaged in any way, do not operate the
machine. |
|
|
Replace the power cord prior to operating the machine. |
|
Check to make certain that the water reservoir is free of debris. |
|
|
Clean if necessary. |
|
|
|
| Monthly Maintenance: |
|
Test and reset the GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter) in the Aqua
Phase power cord. |
|
If your unit has the wheelchair Wheel Rotation System feature installed,
adjust the height of the front and rear wheel brushes if needed. |
|
Use de-liming agent to reduce scale build-up if needed. See
"De-Liming Instructions" included with
your operating manual. |
|
Confirm that front and rear door safety switches are operating properly.
If not, replace prior to using machine. |
|
|
| Semi-Annually or as
Needed Maintenance: |
|
Adjust the tension of the chain running from the drive motor if
necessary. Depending on your model and the features installed, you may or may not have a
drive motor. Contact the factory if you have any questions. |
|
Inspect front door gasket for wear or damage. Replace if necessary. |
